iOS7 Flat Design: Shame or Fame

Is flat good or bad? When opposite to fat, it's a fame. When opposite to full, it's a shame. Flat bellies are nice and sexy, fat ones are less dreamed of, pregnant are beautiful.

Left is adore, right is abhore:
Sometimes we flatten things to make them better.
But what to do if we got things so flat that they really seem broken?
There's still a chance to improve: add more ingredients, dimensions, colours and enjoy the result.

Ok, as a mobile developer I accept iOS7 flat design as a challenge. What else can I do? :)
